The First Methodist Church in the heart of the Loop, Chicago, was the scene of nuptial services at 2:30 Monday, May 10, 1943, when Miss Alice Goeke, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Pfc. Lorris B. Dusso of the U.S. Marine Corps, son of Mr. and Mrs. L.M. Dusso, Greenwood. Dr. Charles Ray Goff officiated.

Miss Ruth Johnson, Greenwood, was the maid of honor and Pfc. Walter Backus, Willard, was the best man. The bride wore a navy blue tailored suit with light blue accessories, and her corsage was fashioned of gardenias and roses. Miss Johnson’s suit was brown with aqua accessories, and she had a rose corsage.

Mrs. Dusso, who was salutatorian of the 1939 graduating class of Greenwood High School, has been employed at the National Farm Loan Office at Greenwood. Her husband, who enlisted in the Marines, April 7, 1942, is home on a furlough transfer from Dutch Harbor, Alaska, and will return to San Diego, Calif., for further duty.
