----- Haeuser, Beverly J. (23 JUN 1948)

A Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) couple exchanged marriage vows at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in that city on Wednesday, June 23, 1948. The Rev. J. Novak celebrated the 9 o’clock Nuptial Mass.

The bride, Miss Beverly Joan Haeuser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Haeuser, was given in marriage by her father. She wore an entrained white satin gown fashioned with sheer yoke and long pointed sleeves, and a full length veil.

Bernard Charles Denk, the bridegroom, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Denk. He was attended by his brother, William Denk Jr., Marshfield, best man; another brother, Donald Denk, Marshfield, and Wilbur Kehrberg, Loyal, groomsmen. A third brother, Jerry Denk, acted as usher.

The maid of honor was Mrs. Kehrberg, sister of the bride. The bridegroom’s sister, Miss Dorothy Denk, and Mrs. Donald Denk were bridesmaids.

Mrs. Kehrberg was dressed in pink taffeta and the bridesmaids in green. They wore matching mitts and carried colonial bouquets. The matron of honor’s flowers were pink and white carnations. The other two attendants carried pink carnations and white sweet pears.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents and supper was served in the church dining hall.

Mr. and Mrs. Denk are both employed by the Greenwood Coop Association. After a honeymoon in northern Wisconsin they will make their home with the bride’s parents.

Out of town guests at the wedding were Mrs. Ed Sorenson, Burlington; Mr. and Mrs. George Krakenberger and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Krakenberger, Medford; Mr. and Mrs. Vern Wachter, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Myrle Hales and daughters, Darlene and Nan Jean, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Denk, and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Kehrberg, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lyon, Riplinger; Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Denk and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Denk, Marshfield; Miss Arlene Krakenberger, Medford; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Touschel, Valders; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ginter, Reedsville; Mrs. Cyril Malborough, Clarks Mills; Mrs. Ray Mallman, Kohler; and Mrs. E.O.
