Miss Marjorie Ellen Bublitz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Bublitz, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Frederick Luverne Panzenhagen, Greenwood, May 28, 1949, at Peace Evangelical Reformed Church, Curtiss. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. M.F. Panzenhagen, Racine. Officiating at the 2 p.m. service was the Rev. P.F. Puhlmen.

Attending the couple were Miss Ferne Sorenson, Milwaukee, as maid of honor, Kathleen Tostrud, Racine, as flower girl, Duane McElmurry, Superior, as best man, DuWayne Caarl, and ? Speich, as ushers.

The bride is a graduate of Owen High School and has been employed at the Clark Electric Corporation, Greenwood. Mr. Panzenhagen is a graduate of Superior Central High School and Superior State College. He teaches Science at Greenwood High School.

Following a Minnesota wedding trip the couple will reside at Greenwood.

White satin formed the bride’s gown. Her fitted bodice featured a dropped yoke edged with lace, and panniers and a fish tail bustle enhanced gown, which extended into a long train. She wore a finger-tip veil and carried a bridal bouquet of white lilies, sweetheart and yellow roses.

Miss Sorenson was attired in a lilac faille dress styled the same as that of the bride. Pink roses and white carnations were in her bouquet. The flower girl, who is the groom’s niece, wore a frock of Nile green taffeta, fashioned similar to that of the bride.

After the wedding a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
