Obit: Dragosh, Peter (1862 – 1948)
Surnames: DRAGOSH VERSCHAY ----- Source: : Marshfield News Herald (Marshfield, Wis.) 04/??/1948 ----- Dragosh, Peter (12 MAR 1862 – 12 APR 1948) Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) – Peter G. Dragosh, 86, Willard, a retired farmer, died Monday afternoon (Apr 12, 1948) at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Verschay, 1 ¼ miles northeast of Willard. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Stabnow Funeral Home, Greenwood, after which interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Lee H. Holmes, Methodist minister, will conduct the rites. Mr. Dragosh was born in Austria, Hungary, and came to the United States 58 years ago. Since 1914 he lived in Willard. His wife preceded him in death many years ago and he was living with the Verschays for a long time. Mr. Dragosh, one of the first settlers in Willard, is survived by his daughter, by a son in Minnesota, and by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. |
