News: Southwest Lynn (29 Aug. 1940)
Surnames: Portah, Riedel, Lustig, Krause, Sternitzky, Keuer, Bartsch Source: Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) Thurs., 29 Aug. 1940 Southwest Lynn Mr. and Mrs. Henry Porath returned from their trip to Waucena this week. Miss Arlene Riedel spent Tuesday helping her sister, Mrs. Ernest Lustig. This neighborhood was threshed out the past week. Elroy, Hazel and Dorothy Krause and Arlene and Clarence Riedel were among those who helped Verna Sternitzky celebrate her birthday Wednesday evening. Mrs. Leslie Keuer helped her mother, Mrs. August Krause, prepare for the threshers Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Emil Riedel and daughter, Arlene, were callers at the Ernest Lustig home Friday. Emil Riedel and daughter, Arlene, were county seat caller’s Saturday. The Carl Bartsch family and Grandma Bartsch were Sunday afternoon visitors at the Emil Riedel home. |
