Fabian, Frank A. (23 JAN 1925 - 7 FEB 2003)

Frank A. Fabian Sr., 78, Greenwood, Clark County, Wis., died on Friday, Feb. 7, 2003, at the House of the Dove, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Monday, Feb. 10, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. The Rev. Daniel Zimmerman officiated. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ken Speich, Todd Rohde, Jack Jensen, Bill Schultz, Stanley Olson and Richard Rohde.

Honorary pallbearers were the Trinity Lutheran dartball team members. Frank Alvin Fabian was born on Jan. 23, 1925, in rural Greenwood, to Emil and Martha (nee Ehlers) Fabian. He was raised on the family farm and graduated from Greenwood High School. He married Maxine Stone on Sept. 24, 1960, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Neillsville. He lived and farmed in the town of Eaton all of his life. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, served on the church council and was a member of the church dartball team. He served on the Lutheran Cemetery Board, the Puremilk Delegate Board and the AMPI Board.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine, Greenwood; three sons, Frank (Darlene) Fabian Jr., Greenwood, Michael (Donna) Fabian, Neillsville, and Jody (Stephanie) Fabian, Willard; and six grandchildren, Matthew, Miranda, Conner, Jacob, Teaera and Traven Fabian.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Herbert Fabian.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements.
