Two of the bridge crew, Mr. Bradley and Mr. Britton left Wednesday for their homes at Wausau.

Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Benjamin spent Sunday at E. H. VanAlstine's.

The Hemlock boys played "Shenny" with the West Side boys at the High Banks Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Shuhmann (Schumann) called at E. N. Van Alstine's Sunday afternoon.

Ben Speich spent Saturday night at Jake Speich's.

Mabel Rossman and Mr. Bassler took dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Beyer on the West Side.

Helen Davis spent Saturday and Sunday at home.

Kate and Blanche Smith entertained company from Greenwood Saturday.

Carl Anderson spent Sunday at home.

Tensina Haglund spent Saturday at the farm.

Work on the bridge is now advancing at the good rate. The false work is all completed and the steel is being put up. Indications are that they will have a bridge soon.

Mrs. Schuemann (Schumann?), Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Speich attended the Ladies' Aid at Longridge's (rest cut off)
