Walk, V. Leone (Marriage – 21 Sept. 1940)

Miss V. Leone Walk, 814 First Street, Wausau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Walk of Neillsville, and William Lemke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lemke, 102 North Third Ave., Wausau, were united in marriage Saturday, September 21, at ST. John’s Lutheran Church in Waukon, Ia., with the Rev. P. F. Pjorgland officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Swanson of Wausau attended the couple.

The bride wore a green velvet dress with brown accessories and a shoulder bouquet of pink and white button chrysanthemums and rosebuds. Mrs. Swanson was attired in a dress of black crepe and net with rest accessories, and wore a shoulder corsage of white chrysanthemums and white roses.

Mrs. Lemke is a graduate of the Neillsville High School with the class of 1935 and since has been employed in the Wausau office of the Employers Mutual. The bridegroom is a draftsman for the D. J. Murray Manufacturing Company of that city.
