Cannonville

We wished to correct a mistake in our items last week. The community club is giving the chili supper at the Washburn town hall Friday evening, October 18, for a Christmas fund, instead of the Ladies’ Aid, as stated.

The Oscar Larsen family, accompanied by his parents, drove to Chippewa Falls Sunday and visited relatives there.

A large crowd attended church services Sunday evening. Special musical numbers were given by members of the Singing club and young ladies of Lindsey. There will be services again in two weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Feutz were guests at the Feutz home Sunday.

Mrs. Albert Zank and baby of Neillsville visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Williams, Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams drove to the Sherwood dam Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kissling had a husking bee Tuesday evening.

Mr. Tews and son of Neillsville assisted Soren Larsen with corn husking last week.

Elmer Kapfer is hulling clover for Ed Hagie.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schecklman of Heintown visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Szra Sharratt, Sunday.

Mrs. Marie Aasen will entertain the Ladies’ Aid today.
