SURNAMES: Grottke, Schmitz Source: Marshfield News-Herald, Feb 12, 2007 Grottke, Dorothy (17 May 1909 - 9 Feb. 2007) Dorothy Grottke Dorothy Grottke, 97, of Colby died Friday, Feb. 9, at Colonial Center in Colby. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford. Burial will be later in the spring in Abbotsford Public Cemetery. Visitation starts at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday and continues until time of services. Dorothy was born May 17, 1909, in the town of Grant. She owned and operated clothing stores in Abbotsford and Sauk City. She is survived by her grandchildren, Donna Schmitz of Sauk City and David (Nancy) Schmitz of Prairie du Sac; three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild. |
