Kudingo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kudingo, were united in marriage at St. Hedwig’s Church on Saturday morning, June 4, 1932, Rev. F.A. Kulig officiating. Joseph Sopiarz served as best man and Anne Kudingo as bridesmaid. Other attending couples were: Tillie Zukowski and Emil Deitschlander, Irene Kurowski and Tom Kobylarczyk, and Ann Gurklis and Henry Deitschlander, Emily Zdrojkowski was maid of honor. Dorothy Leja was flower girl. She wore a yellow net dress with hat to match and carried a bouquet of tea roses and white larkspurs. James Weseman was pillow boy. He was dressed in a white satin suit. The bride wore a long gown of white satin – over it fell a tulle veil which was five yards long. It was cap shaped, trimmed with orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies tied with a white satin ribbon. The color scheme was pink and blue. The bridesmaids were attired in alice blue gowns trimmed with pink. They wore shoes and headbands to match. They carried beautiful bouquets of dark pink roses. The maids of honor carried a bouquet of yellow roses. The groom was attired in a dark blue suit. The reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The house was decorated with pink and white crepe paper and white bells. A four-piece orchestra furnished the music. Approximately five hundred persons attended the wedding. The newlyweds will reside at Thorp where the groom is engaged in dairy farming. |
