Surnames: Alexander, Hemphill Source: Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) Thurs., 4 Dec. 1941 Alexander, Milton (? – 9 Dec. 1941) Mrs. W. L. Hemphill received a message this week announcing the death of Milton Alexander of Jacksonville, Florida, after an illness of several months duration, on Tuesday, Dec. 9. Mr. Alexander was well known here, having lived in Neillsville as a young man. For many years he had made his home in the south. He had always retained an interest in his boyhood home, returning frequently to visit his relatives and friends.
