Baehr, Norma (4 OCT 1930)

The wedding of Miss Norma Baehr of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), and Fritz Kramer of Milwaukee, took place Saturday, Oct. 4, 1930, at four o’clock at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a gown of egg-shell satin. Her veil was tulle, the cap of which was adorned with clusters of orange blossoms on the sides. She carried a shower bouquet of pink roses and small white flowers.

The maid of honor, Miss Cora Baehr, wore an orchid crepe dress trimmed with velvet. The bridesmaid, Miss Erma Holtz, wore a rose colored net over rose satin. Both wore molene headbands and carried arm bouquets of pink roses and asters tied with ribbons to match their dresses.

Myrtle Wilhelmi, a nice of the bride, acted as flower girl and wore a peach silk dress with headband to match. Hans Kamenarz acted as best man.

After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride. The rooms were beautifully decorate in a color scheme of orchid, white and rose.

Those who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kramer, parents of the groom, and daughter, Elizabeth, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Riths, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Wilhelmi and daughter, Myrtle, all of Milwaukee; Mrs. Pargee and Mrs. H. Wilhelmi of Abbotsford; Mrs. H.E. Wordell of Greenwood; and Rev. J. Brandt and family of Dorchester.

The evening was spent in singing songs and playing games.

The young people left for Milwaukee Sunday noon where they will make their home with the groom’s parents.
