Foltz, Delores Ruth (Marriage - 20 Jun. 1946)

Miss Delores Ruth Foltz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Foltz, of Curtiss, and Warren Jay Phaneuf, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Phaneuf, Abbotsford, and Miss Evonna Allain, a double cousin of the bride, and Dick Fischer were married in a double ceremony in the rectory of Christ The King Catholic Church of Spencer by the Rev. Fr. Henry, June 20 at high noon on Thursday, June 20.

Miss Foltz wore a white linen afternoon frock with a white picture hat and matching accessories. Pink and white roses were pinned to her shoulder. Miss Allain was attired in a white eyelet dress and had a corsage of red and white roses.

Each couple served as attendants for the other.

Following the wedding, dinner was served to 25 guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs.J. Allain at Colby.

The Register joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.

Further details have been received concerning the wedding of Miss Evonna Allain, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Allain of Unity, and Donald Fischer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry G. Fischer, Spencer. The Rev. Bernard Henry officiated at the nuptial service read in the rectory of the Spencer Catholic Church at high noon, June 20.

Attendants were Miss Delores Foltz, of Curtiss and Warren Phaneuf, of Abbotsford, who exchanged vows at the same time, with Mr. and Mrs. Fischer as their attendants.

A reception for 25 guests at the home of the bride’s parents followed the ?. After a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin and Michigan the couple will reside in Spencer.

Mrs. Fischer was graduated from the Unity High School in 1944 and from the Minneapolis Electronic Institute in 1945. Mr. Fischer is a graduate of the Spencer High School with the class of 1941.
