A beautiful wedding took place Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the Little White Church when Miss Mable Wigstadt became the bride of Marius Miolund of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), in a double ring ceremony performed by Rev. L. Thiel. The bride was tastily attired in a ? crepe gown and lfoor length veil and carried an arm bouquet of ?, carnations and snapdragons. The attendants were Miss Eleanor Jensen, who wore a pink crepe gown, and Miss June Hugoboom, who was attired in blue chiffon. Each held an arm bouquet of mixed flowers. The groom and his attendants, William Wigstadt and Lawrence ?, Almond, wore the convention ? suits. Miss Lucille Weihr of ?, a niece of the bride, acted as ring bearers and little Betsy Leach, ? niece, as flower girl. Both were attired in pink crepe dresses.

Immediately following the ceremony the bridal party motored to Medford for wedding pictures and a reception at the bride’s house followed. The house was tastily decorated with pink and blue streamers, white bells and covers were laid for ? guests.

The happy couple left immediately after the reception for a two week honeymoon trip through northern Wisconsin and will be at home to their many friends on the groom’s farm near Owen after June 25th.

The bride is very well known and lived here, and although Mr. Miolund is not as well known, the many friends are certain of Mable’s choice and join us in wishing the newlyweds joy, peace and prosperity in their journey through life together.

Out of town guests present for the wedding were Mrs. Margaret Miolund of Owen, mother of the groom, Paul Weihr and Miss Lucile and niece of the bride, Miss ? Manley and Lawrence Leach, nephew of the bride, all of Almond, ? Leach, Sr., and sons, Lyle and ? Jr., and Ed Wigstadt of Iola, Rev. and Mrs. Anderson of Curtiss.
