Seidl, Dorothy (Marriage – 11 Aug. 1934)

In a late summer wedding solemnized at St. Killian’s Church, Hartford, Saturday morning, Aug. 11, at 8 o’clock, Miss Dorothy Seidl, of this city, became the bride of Matt Miller, of Shorewood. Rev. F. C. Kieser, pastor of the local parish, celebrated the nuptial high mass. Miss Claudia Seidl, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor, while the best man was Gerald Jeffords, of this city.

Later in the day the wedding group and members of the families of the contracting parties were served an elaborate wedding dinner at Mrs. Alton’s Café, at which thirty guests were present. Bouquets of summer flowers furnished pretty decorations for the tables.

The bride, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Seidl, attended St. Kilian’s and Hartford highs schools. Since then she has been employed in the local office of the Luick Dairy Company. The groom, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig, Miller, of Humbird, at one time was a worker in the Hartford Plant of the Lucik Dairy Co. Several years ago he was transferred to the Milwaukee Branch, where he is now employed as an auto repairman. Mr. and Mrs. Miller have gone to housekeeping in the W. E. Schulz residence, 702 Union St., Hartford. There they are recipients of the good wishes of their many friends for years of happy married bliss.

Those from out of the city who attended the nuptials were Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Miller and Fred Miller, Humbird; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kelsh and daughters Joy and Rita Lou, of Sherwood; and other relatives. – Hartford Times-Press.
