(28 JUN 1933) A very beautiful wedding took place Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock when Miss Elna F. Nixdorf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Al Nixdorf, became the bride of Arnold E. Waldhart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Waldhart, Stetsonville. The ceremony was performed at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. J. Brandt officiating. The bride was beautifully attired in a white satin floor length formal gown trimmed with lace. Her long net veil was fashioned in a cap effect with a crescent of pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of roses and swansonias. The maid of honor, Miss Elva Laack, wore a white dotted floor length tulle gown and the bridesmaid, Miss Florence Liepke, wore a white silk net floor length gown. Both girls wore headbands similar tot heir gowns and carried bouquets of pink and white carnations and pink larkspur. The groom and his attendants, Clarence Nixdorf, the bride’s brother, and Walter Nixdorf, the bride’s cousin, wore dark suits. Following the ceremony a 5 o’clock wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents. Covers were laid for 60. The house was beautifully decorated with pink, blue and white streamers and cut flowers. In the evening a wedding dance was held at Midway.
