Wis.) 05/14/1974 Johnson, Emma (31 Oct. 1891 – 10 May 1974) Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Portland Lutheran Church, near Cashton, for Mrs. Emma Johnson, 82, of Greenwood, who died Friday, May 10, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. The Rev. Philip Kearns Mueller officiated and burial followed in the Portland cemetery. The former Emma Erickson was born Oct. 31, 1891 in Melvina and was married in 1914 to Ole Johnson, who preceded her in death in 1938. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Mae) Fegre, Janesville; two sons, Spencer of Marshfield, and Emmett, Oak Lawn, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter. |
