Local Record

W. T. Price was in the city last Saturday.

Wm. Sohn has take possession of the Rossman house.

James L. Gates, of the Times Co., left for Duluth last Thursday.

Mrs. Ida Pulsifer has so far recovered as to be able to be out a little every day.

Miss Elva Wilcox returned last Thursday, from Wadena, Minn., for a short visit.

F. B. Bort with E. B. Millar& Co., of Chicago, was in the city last Thursday.

Fred Baker, the chairman elect of the town of Warner, was in the city on Friday last.

Mrs. Caroline O’Neill returned Sunday morning from a visit of about a week to Beaver Dam.

Free Lindsay went up to his camp, in town 29, last Thursday, going by rail via Eau Claire.

Dr. Crandall has much improved the front of his store by an application of a coat of fresh paint.

Twenty eight applications for certificates attended the teachers examination held 1st week at this place.

Lemont E. Brown, returned from the East Fork on Saturday and reports a very good drive on that stream.

Wm. Lightfoot, who has been dangerously sick for a few weeks, is again on the street and rapidly improving.

Mrs. Ira B. Jones was seriously ill for several days last week. We are pleased to note that she is much improved.

The ladies of St. Luke’s Guild will hold their nest sociable at the residence of Mrs. F. D. Lindsay, on Tuesday evening, April 18th.
