Editors Times: They say silence is golden, but it does not furnish news.

Busy, busy, everybody busy.

Graves mill is booming.

Schuldt’s cheese factory is going.

Minards & Co.’s store is full of goods. Custom fair.

W. H. Hilton has a bran new frame barn in process of completion. It looks up some (on the hill.) Mr. J. Castner and J. Arms have each raised a frame barn and C. Flood is to raise the premium one on Saturday the 24. Size 46 x 66 with underground stables. Mr. W. Dutcher, of Beaver, also has a new barn now nearly completed. These besides several log barns erected this spring, are some of the substantial improvements being made in our town.

Mr. E. Shupe is getting a nice pile of lumber on hand and seems to see a new barn on his place in the near future.

Road work is appropriation jobs and taxes is nearly down and the result is appreciated.

Pink eye is yet abroad though it does not seem as fatal now as it was earlier in the season.

Corn has good color, but is rather backward.

Grass seems to have good “bottom” but is rather short. Grass farmer **Rest cut off. ***
