Heathville – 19 Aug. 1882

Two days at Heathville without rain.

Mrs. H. Heath is very low and there is little hopes of her recovery.

Potatoes are rotting in this part of the country, and that crop promise to be a small one.

Haying on the wild meadows is going on rapidly. The farmers are improving the few pleasant days.

Mr. Sutherland has some very nice oats. Take some to the fair Mr. S.

C. D. Tarbox has returned home from Dakota, for how long we have not learned.

Mr. A. Field has also returned to his home in this place from Dakota.

The Dakota fever is all dying out in this place without any serious cases as yet.

Rev. J. A. Benton will preach in the Heath School house August 27th. We are very glad to welcome him among us again.
