BioM: Lott, Vergie (1949) Surnames: LOTT MATTSON BORRESON SPENCER Source: MARATHON COUNTY REGISTER (Unity, Clark Co., Wis.) 01/28/1949 Lott, Vergie (Marriage - 22 Jan. 1949) Miss Vergie Lott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mila Lott of Curtiss and Robert Mattson of Owen exchanged marriage vows at the Norwegian Lutheran Church at Curtiss Saturday afternoon, January 22nd, with Rev. G. E. Borreson of Curtiss officiating. A reception was held at the church hall and a wedding dance was given at the Merry Ol Gardens near Withee in the evening. Miss Lott, a cousin of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Spencer, who attended the wedding, formerly worked at the Spencer Store in Unity. After returning from their honeymoon in Chicago, the young couple will make their home in Owen where Mr. Mattson will be employed by his father. The Register joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life. |
