Mr. Everett Bacon has moved into his new house.

Samuel Calway was the lucky man at the drawing for Hi Hart’s horse.

Miss Annie Osborn is now engaged as clerk in J. H. Thayer & Co’s store.

A good assortment of clothes, flannels, waterproofs, & c., at Reitz & Haughen’s.

B. M. Fulmer, of Loyal, now occupies the M. E. Church pulpit at Merrillan.

The constitutional amendments have all passed, with but little opposition.

Charles Bunn, attorney at law, of La Crosses, were here last Thursday attending the special term of circuit court.

The W. C. T. U. meets with Mrs. Philpott next Friday afternoon at 2:30. A full and prompt attendance is desired.

John A. Sargeant, of Oshkosh, instituted a Legion of Selected Knights of the A. O. U. W. in this city last Friday night.

The Ladies’ Aid Society of the M. E. Church will be held as the residence of Mrs. R. Dewhurst tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon.

Miss Grundy will occupy one of the rooms on the second floor of C. Bakesllee’s buildings of her Kindergarten school.

Overcoats from a size for a three year old, to the largest men’s sizes, cheap at Reitz & Haugen’s.

Our County Clerk, Mr. C. F. Grow, visited the Times office today. He is here to attend the meeting of the County Board.

Among the dead of last week, is Andrew Sheppard, who was once the wealthiest lumberman in northwestern Wisconsin.

In consequence of the illness of the pastor, no services were held in the M. E. Church last Sunday.

Mrs. John R. Walters has been quite ill for a few days past, but is reported better this morning.

The county poor commissioners are making their regular annual settlement with the overseers today.

Mrs. Xury Lewis, of Canton, N. Y., and Mrs. M. A. Weeks, of Vermont, are visiting, Mrs. L. A. Doolittle.

The County Board of Supervisors convened in its regular annual session today, with a fair representation.

The Elroy (Wis.) Statesman is a new temperance paper, of which D. C. Talbot is editor and publisher.

Thursday, November 30th, has been proclaimed by President Arthur as a day of national Thanksgiving for the year 1882.

Mrs. C. O’Neill will soon open a very nice line of Christmas goods. It is just the place to go to purchase something to please the little ones.

Rev. J. E. Webster has been quite seriously ill during the past week. We are happy to state that the fever, with which he was attacked, is broken and he is much better.
