The funeral was held on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the Lulloff Funeral Home and at 2 o’clock at the Methodist church with the Rev. F. J. Smith officiating. Charles Higby lived in this vicinity his entire life. He leaves one sister, Mrs. Gladys Fehl, Wausau and three brothers, Floyd and Frank of Martinez, California and Arthur of Chicago. Out of town people attending the services included Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Stowe and daughter, Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Owen Stowe, Stevens Point; Frank Higby, Dixon, Calif.; Floyd Higby, Martinez, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Higby and Mrs. Norman Fehl, Wausau. *** Note: Charles’ year of birth is from the Colby Memorial Cemetery list on this site. |
