The bride’s gown was of white satin and ninon fashioned with a fitted bodice and long sleeves of satin with a ruffled band of ninon caught with orange blossoms accenting the drop shoulder yoke. Wide lace edged the full skirt and was caught up with clusters of orange blossoms. Her finger-tip, lace trimmed veil was attached to a cloche of lace, trimmed with a single strand of pearls. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and large and small white mums. Miss Lucille Boland, Marshfield, was her sister’s maid of honor and the groom’s sister, Miss Margaret Hartl, Unity, and Miss Delores Hendrickson of Spencer, were bridesmaids. The groom was attended by Roger Schwantes, Marshfield, and Leon Boland and Wilbur Buse, Spencer. Franklyn Luepke and Donald Neuman ushered. Miss Boland wore shrimp satin, Miss Hartl, yellow satin, and Miss Hendrickson, Nile green satin, in identically fashioned gowns made with full skirts and fitted bodices, buttoned down the front. They wore matching picture hats and carried bouquets of mums and roses. Mrs. Boland was present in a purple dress and the mother of the groom wore a grey-blue dress. Both wore black accessories and corsages of mums. The bride is a graduate of Spencer High School and the groom of Unity High School. They will reside in Stratford.
