Van Sleet, Aurelia B. (Marriage – 8 Apr. 1931)

A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby Wednesday morning, April 8th, at 8:00 A.M., Rev. H. Lachnit officiating, when Miss Aurelia B. Van Slett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Van Slett of Unity, became the bride of Mr. George Blanchard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Blanchard of Colby. The Misses Mildred Vanderhoof of Colby and Virginia Allain of Unity acted as the bridesmaids and the groom was attended by Elmo and Charles Van Slett.

The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of white satin with chiffon net and carried a shower bouquet of roses and carnations. The bridesmaids wore French blue, satin crepe dresses and corsage bouquets of roses. A reception was given the bridal party at the home of the bride’s parents at Unity.

The newlyweds will make their home in Unity. Their many friends join in wishing them much happiness and prosperity.
