Surnames: PEDERSON WAUSSOW HAMANN MULICH GALLOWAY ---Source: COLBY PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 04/30/1931 Pederson, Velda (Marriage – 24 Apr. 1931) Miss Velda Pederson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Pederson of Colby, and Mr. Elmore Waussow, son of Mrs. Bertha Hamann, were united in marriage Friday, April 24th, at 8:00 P.M. at the St. John’s Lutheran church in the town of Wein, Rev. Mulich reading the marriage ceremony. Mrs. Lela Galloway acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Truman Pederson. The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of pale blue crepe and her bouquet consisted of white roses and ferns. The bridesmaid also wore a dress of pale blue crepe and her bouquet consisted of pink carnations. The newlyweds will be at home after May 1st on a farm three miles east of Colby. Both are well and favorably known and their many friends extend best wishes. |
