A beautiful fall wedding was solemnized at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Stetsonville Tuesday morning, Sept. 17, 1935, at 8:30 when Miss Helen Riegert, daughter Of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Riegert, Stetsonville, became the bride of Frank Hollmann Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hollmann, Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.). The double ring ceremony was performed by Father J.A. Seeboth with the choir from the St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester, singing the service.

The bride was attired in a white satin gown over which she wore a lace jacket and puffed sleeves. Her train style veil trimmed with orange blossoms was fastened by a beaded lace turban and she carried a bouquet of roses, carnations and baby breath. White accessories completed the ensemble.

Miss Alice Riegert, sister of the bride, who acted as maid of honor, wore wine transparent velvet with matching accessories. The bridesmaids, the Misses Helen and Lorrain Hollmann, sisters of the groom, wore plum and brown transparent velvet respectively, with matching accessories. All wore rhinestone headbands and corsages of sweet peas and roses.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents with covers laid for thirty. Wedding pictures were taken at a Medford studio and a 5 o’clock dinner was served to immediate relatives. In the evening a wedding dance was given at Midway with a large crowd attending.

The home was tastily decorated with yellow, pink and white streamers and white wedding bells to harmonize with the huge wedding cake used as the central decoration at the bridal table.

Both the bride and groom are well known here and their host of friends join us in wishing them the best of success and happiness in their life journey. The happy young couple will be at home to their many friends at the home of the groom’s parents where they will live until spring.

Out of town relatives and friends attending the ceremony were the groom’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Val Fleckenstein, Dorchester, Mrs. Mary Schwermer, Forest Park, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Frank and daughter, Corrine, North Prairie, Miss Anna Riegert, Rib Lake, Mr. Binder, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Brandner and sons, Melvin, Norbert and Bernard, Mr. and Mrs. George Riegert, daughter, Wilma and son, Donald of Medford, Mrs. Anna White of Little Black, and Ralph Bargenquist of Milan.
