Gaetz, 50, Spencer, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Memorial services were held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, June 2, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Riplinger. The Rev. Rebekah Tarras officiated. Lynn M. Erickson was born April 20, 1957, to Norman and Patricia (nee Meyer) Erickson. She graduated from Nekoosa High School. She married Jim Slusser and later divorced. She married Steve Gaetz on June 11, 1999 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Riplinger. She was employed as a health unit coordinator at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Her passions in life included her children, her love of animals, and gardening. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband Steve, Spencer; her children by marriage, Melissa (fiancé Michael Delo) Gaetz and Travis (special friend Amanda Hill) Gaetz; her parents, Norman and Patricia Erickson, Hayward; her grandmothers, Elsie Anderson, Marshfield, and Ruth Erickson, Wisconsin Rapids; one sister, Laura (William) Rusk, Hayward, one brother Weston (Deirdre) , Nekoosa; nieces and nephews, Marene, Hallie, and Riley Erickson, Nekoosa, and Nathan Oltesvig, Madison. Preceding her in death were her grandfathers. Maurina/Community Funeral Home, Spencer, assisted the family with arrangements. |
