SURNAMES: Gilberts, Huls, Larson, Paff ---Source: Marshfield News-Herald, June 29, 2007 Jane Ann Gilberts May 5, 1918 - June 28, 2007) THORP -- Jane Ann Gilberts, age 89, of Thorp, formerly of Stanley, died June 28, 2007, at Oakbrook Health and Rehabilitation. At her request, no services will be held. Jane Ann Huls was born May 5, 1918, in Thorp to Henry and Hazel (Graham) Huls. She was united in marriage to Leonard Larson on Oct. 18, 1939. They farmed and later moved to Stanley where she raised her two children. Leonard died Feb. 9, 1969. On April 25, 1970, Jane married Perry Gilberts. He died Oct. 19, 1992. Jane is survived by her son, Bobby (Barb) Larson of Cudahy; four grandsons; and her sister, Cretia Paff of Thorp. |
