BioM: Baker, Lila (1933) Surnames: BAKER FOSTER LANG HOBELSBERGER BRADLEY PRICE ---Source: COLBY PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 05/18/1933 Baker, Lila (Marriage – 18 May1933) A very pretty wedding took place this Thursday morning at nine o’clock at the St. Mary’s Catholic church, Rev. Leo Lang officiating, when Miss Lila Baker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Baker of Owen, became the bride of Mr. Woodrow Foster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Foster. The couple were attended by Miss Gladys Foster and Mr. Marcellus Foster, sister and brother of the groom. The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of pink organdy with bridal wreath of rhinestone and her bouquet consisted of roses and carnations. The bridesmaid wore a dress of white organdy with a headband of rosebuds. After the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents for relatives and intimate friends, covers being laid for fifty. The home was nicely decorated in pink and white streamers for the occasion. The newlyweds will make their home on a farm in the town of Colby. Out of town people here for the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hobelsberger of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. James Baker and Mr. and Mrs. Bradley of Owen and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Price of Milan.
