Vol. 47, No. 29, Wed., Jul 18, 2007, p 9 Feldbruegge, Frank #2 (23 Jun 1912 – 12 Jul 2007) Frank Feldbruegge, 95, Dorchester, died Thursday, July 12, 2007, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. A mass of Christian burial was held July 18th, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester. Burial was in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery, Father Benjamin Franklin, presided. Pallbearers were Jason Decker, Jeremy, Michael, Adam, Matthew and Ryan Feldbruegge, Mark Baxter and David Nikolai. Mr. Feldbruegge was born June 23rd, 1912, in Marathon County to Frank and Bertha (Beyreis) Feldbruegge. He attended St. Louis Catholic School. Frank and Mary Cypher were united in marriage September 5th, 1944, at Sacred Heart Catholic, Church in Stetsonville. They farmed in the Town of Mayville until 1977, when they moved to the village of Dorchester. He was employed with the Dorchester Co-op Fertilizer Plant and later worked for Liberty Homes as a night watchman. Frank was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church where he served as a lector. Frank is survived by his wife, Mary Feldbruegge, Dorchester; his children Virginia (Peter) Strange, Boulder, CO, Agnes (Pat) Belleville, IL, Judy, (Joe) Decker, Schofield, Ann Amundson, Eau Claire, Richard (Mary Ann) Feldbruegge, Abbotsford, Jim Feldbruegge, Medford, Mary (Jerry) Hedrich, Panama, Joe (Karla) Feldbruegge, Colby and Gerard (Carla) Feldbruegge, Abbotsford; nineteen grandchildren; three step grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Carl, Herman and Henry and three sisters, Emma, Gertrude and Mary. Maurina Funeral Home, Dorchester, assisted the family with arrangements. |
