Obit: Braun, Herman (? – 1900)
---Source: NEILLSVILLE TIMES (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 06/28/1900 Braun, Herman (? – 21 JUN 1900) Herman Braun of Grant (Clark Co., Wis.), was struck by lightning Thursday last and instantly killed. When the storm came up he and a number of men who were at work on a new barn foundation quit work and started for the house to get out of the rain. Mr. Brown was the last one to leave the barn, stopping a minute to move some boards, and just as he had finished and was started after the men, the bolt struck him. He was a highly respected citizen and his loss will be severely felt in the community. He leaves a wife and family to mourn his sudden death. |
