Goldamer, Ardyce (Marriage – 22 June 1935)

Miss Ardyce Goldamer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Goldamer, of Abbotsford and Elmer Cornelius, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Cornelius, also of Abbotsford, were married at the St. Paul’s Lutheran church at Green Grove Saturday afternoon, Rev. M. C. Goetsch reading the marriage ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Cornelius of Milwaukee were the attendants.

The bride wore a floor length gown of white embroidered net with a ruffled cape, white accessories and tiara for her head. Her shower bouquet consisted of talisman roses and snapdragons. The matron of honor wore a white floor length gown of tunic style completed with a beaded bodice. Her bouquet consisted of roses, sweet peas and snapdragons.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, covers being laid for 125 guests. Cut flowers and tapers decorated the tables.

The bride and groom went on a short wedding trip to Tomahawk and now at home in Abbotsford.
