Surnames: Moen, Struble, Studebaker, West, Burt ---Source: The Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 8 Jan. 1942 Moen, Alice Loretta (Marriage – 25 Dec. 1941) Miss Alice Loretta Moen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Moen, Beloit, and Lawrence Lee Struble, son of Mrs. Lula Struble, were united in marriage on Christmas Day at the home of her parents, the Moen family having but recently moved from Neillsville, to Beloit. The Rev. E. J. Studebaker, pastor of the Second Congregational Church in that city officiating. Thirteen guests witnessed the service and were present for the reception which followed. The bride and groom were attended by Private Roy West of Camp Livingston and Miss Darlene Burt of Beloit. The ceremony was performed in an archway between the living room and hall, Christmas decorations lending a pretty setting for the occasion. Mrs. Struble wore a baby blue silk crepe street dress and a corsage of white gardenias, her attendant wearing a navy blue silk crepe dress. Her corsage also was made up of gardenias. The mothers of the bride and groom wore powder blue and black silk crepe dresses respectively. The couple will make their home in Neillsville, for the present living in the home of his mother on South Grand Avenue. Mrs. Struble was a junior in the Neillsville High School this year, her husband having been graduated from the same school in 1941. He is employed with the American Stores Dairy company.
