Miller, Dorothy (Marriage – 19 Nov. 1935)

A very pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Mary’s church this Tuesday morning, Rev. L. J. Lang officiating, when Miss Dorothy Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Miller, became the bride of Mr. Leonard Arendt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Arendt. Katherine Lamont acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by the bride’s brother, Harold Miller.

The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of pancy velvet with accessories to match and her bouquet consisted of chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid wore a dress of green velvet with accessories to match and her bouquet also consisted of chrysanthemums.

Immediately after the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated in green, pancy and white crepe paper for the occasion. This Thursday evening, a free wedding dance will be given at the Abbotsford armory.

The newlyweds will make a wedding trip to Minnesota and will be at home after Dec. 2 in the town of Colby.
