Fremont – by Mrs. Gordon Davis

Donald Cole has been seriously ill for the last two weeks at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cole. He had influenza followed by jaundice.

Mr. and Mrs. Swanson and three sons of Auburndale have rented the Hornick farm and have settled there.

Norman Miller, who has been employed by Glen Roehl the past year, finished work there last week and is going to work for Blum’s at Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Chester Seif and daughter, Sandra Sue, of Augusta, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Dankemyer of Chili were Sunday guests at the Freeman Dankemyer home.

The Riverside cheese factory recently was wired for electricity. Charles Mueller is also having his tenant house wired.

A birthday party was held Sunday evening at the Freman Dankemyer home in honor of Mrs. Dankemyer. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Wellie Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mundt and son, Raymond, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Dankemyer, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Dankemyer, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dorst and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hopp.
