Surnames: Wahlen, Rizner, Dixler, Junchen ---Source: The Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 18 June 1942 Wahlen, Irma (Marriage – 14 June 1942) At 9:45 a.m. June 14, 1942, Miss Irma Wahlen of Neillsville and William Rizner, 1949 S. Harding Avenue, Chicago, were united in marriage at Sauk City, Wis., by the Rev. William Bixler, formerly pastor of the Evangelical and Reformed Church here. The single-ring ceremony was used. The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolf Wahlen of the town of Washburn, was dressed in a dusty pink street dress with beige accessories. Her flowers were pink rosebud and blue delphinium. Her sister (Nellie), Mrs. Walter Junchen, of Tomah, acted as bridesmaid. Mrs. Junchen wore a pink silk dress with luggage tan accessories. Her flowers were a combination of white gladioli with pink rosebuds and blue delphinium. Mr. Junchen attended the groom as best man. Mrs. Rizner is a graduate of the Neillsville High School. Even ?ere completing the course, the young woman had established herself in a permanent position, working then as a stenographer and bookkeeper. Later she became a full time bookkeeper and teller. In her work she was accurate and courteous with the public. Her sweet disposition and charming ladylike manner won for her the love and respect of many friends. Mr. Rizner attended the public school in his boyhood community, helping his parents with the farm work and doing other work that was available until he enlisted in the U. S. Marines in which he served for four years. At present he is employed with the Crane Company of Chicago as a molder, the couple returning to this city after the wedding where they will make their home.
