Surnames: Meyer, Rigg Source: Owen Enterprise (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) 01/27/1938 Rigg, Florence (21 JAN 1938) At a simple nuptial service read last Friday, Jan. 21, 1938, in Welshire Chapter, at Mount Maywood, Calif., Miss Florence Rigg of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) was married to Lawrence F. Meyer of Los Angeles, Calif. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rigg of Withee, and the groom the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Meyer, Withee. The young couple are both graduates of the Withee High School. The bride has been employed as a stenographer in the McGraw Electric Co. at Minneapolis the past three years. The groom, after graduating from high school, was employed by his father, as carpenter and mason. Better than half a year ago he left for Los Angeles, Calif., where he studied diesel engineering, at which work he is now employed. The young couple will make their home at Mount Maywood, Calif., a suburb of Los Angeles. The young couple have a host of friends who join in extending them their congratulations. |
