Surnames: Kaczmaryk, Smagon, Yale Source: Marshfield News Herald (Marshfield, Wood Co., Wis.)Wednesday, September 26, 2007 Kaczmaryk, Sophie (15 May 1922 - 24 Sept. 2007) OWEN -- Sophie Kaczmaryk, 85, of Owen, formerly of Lublin, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at the Clark County Health Care Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin. Cremainal interment will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Thorp Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. She was born May 15, 1922, in Chicago to Michael and Catherine (Smagon) Kaczmaryk. She worked around her parents' home, caring for them for several years until entering the Clark County Health Center. While at the center she helped with meals, setting and cleaning tables and helped with the recycling program. She is survived by a sister, Josephine Yale of Las Vegas, Nev.; and several nieces and nephews. |
