B. Kocian of Abbotsford, and Harry G. Zrutskie, son of Mrs. Gusta Zrutskie, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon, June 24th, at 2:00 o’clock at the St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran parsonage at Dorchester, Rev. J. Brandt reading the marriage ceremony. Adeline Kocian, sister of the bride, and Elnora Zrutskie, sister of the groom, acted as bridesmaids, and the groom was attended by Elmer Kocian, brother of the bride, and Raymond Holtz. The bride was attired in a gown of white satin, long train, princess style collar, long tulle veil with cap effect. Her bouquet consisted of mock oranges and roses. Miss Kocian wore a dress of pink taffeta with blue accessories and her wrist corsage consisted of American beauty roses. Miss Zrutskie wore a dress of blue lace with blue accessories and her wrist corsage was also of American beauty roses. A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated with blue, pink and white streamers and peonies, mock oranges and roses for the occasion. The young couple will make their home at Abbotsford. The groom is employed at Harold Klessig’s cheese factory. Out of town people present at the wedding were Rev. J. Brandt and family of Dorchester, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Wagner of Sheboygan, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Dvorak and son, Gerald, of Edgar, Mrs. Pete Okonovsky of Sheboygan, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Morrison of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Klessig and family of Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Severan of Wausau, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Laabs and daughter of Dorchester, Mr. and Mrs. George Gregory of Rockford, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. H. Bender of Dorchester, Wilbur Schmidt of Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Boregmoen and daughter of Dorchester, Mrs. Schaus of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Joe Tomandl and daughter, Mildred, and son, Joe, of Goodrich, Mr. Earl Krucker of Cherokee, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kozy, Mr. and Mrs. John Kozy, Miss Mary Kozy, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Sedovic, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Mike Sedovic, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Albert Habel and family, Joe Balho and Clarence Gerner, all of Phillips.
