Meyers, Mr./Mrs. Henry (60th Anniv. – 24 Sept. 1939)

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meyers of Green Grove have passed another mile-stone on their journey through life together when on Sept. 24th they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. All their children were present to help them celebrate this happy occasion and the home was beautifully decorated with garden flowers. At 5:00 o’clock a dinner was served to six children, seven grand children and two great grand children and Rev. and Mrs. M. C. Goetsch and children. During the evening, the neighbors charivaried them and wished them many more years of wedded life.

Sampe of Vinceunces, Indiana, Mr. and Mrs. Schulte of Colby, Mrs. Stella Salter of Wisconsin Rapids, Mrs. George Gebhart of Milwaukee, Herbert Meyers, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Johnson of Unity, Ruth and Audrey Schulte and Mrs. Harold Julia?
