Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 4, 2004, at Faith Lutheran Church, Marshfield. Rev. Peter Muschinske will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, rural Unity. Pallbearers will be Dale Alexander, Joe DuLong, Chester Trychta, Todd Denzine, Jeremy Weinfurtner and Mike McCarron. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday March 3, 2004, at Community Funeral Home, Colby, and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Dave was born August 10, 1954, in Marshfield to Walter and Elaine (Brecker) Alexander. Dave and Cheryl Buetsch were married April 26, 1982, in Unity. Dave was employed by the city of Colby and village of Unity, and his last job was with Mann Brothers. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing and camping with his wife and children. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Dave is survived by his wife, Cheryl of Marshfield; his mother, Elaine Holmes of Neillsville; one son David A. (friend Shannon) Alexander Jr. of Marshfield; three daughters, Kellie (Todd) Denzine of Phillips, Shannon (friend Cory) Walkup of Marshfield, and Shauna (Jeremy) Weinfurtner of Spencer; four grandchildren, Savannah, Tanner, Belle, and Abby; one brother, Dale (friend Shannon) Alexander of Stratford; and two sisters, Marlene (Pat) Duell of Loyal and Marie (Shel) Heck of Greenwood. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister. |
