Surnames: Tonlaney, Klauer, Wegner, Thiede, Krainz, Horvat, Kluhn, Grap, Modersohn, Kuenkel, Prill, Timmler, Wood, Aberle, Laken Source: The Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 17 Sept. 1942 Seif & Hendren – by Mrs. Frank Laken Mr. and Mrs. Tony Tolaney of Park Falls visited with friends and relatives in this vicinity Sunday. Mrs. Paul KLauer returned home Saturday from the Eau Claire Hospital, where she had medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wegner and Doris Wegner were dinner guests at the Ewald Thiede home at Granton Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Krainz and Mrs. Anton Krainz attended a funeral of a friend at Sheldon last week. Rudy Horvat returned home from Milwaukee Thursday where he spent a short time visiting his sister, Mrs. Joe Kluhn, and friends. Harvey Grap has been assisting his father, Gus Grap, due to the absence of his mother, who is receiving medical treatment at Milwaukee. Mrs. Tillie Modersohn and daughter, Helen, and William Kuenkel were Sunday dinner guests at the Paul Kuenkel home. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Prill visited with Mrs. Tillie Modersohn and William Kuenkel Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Timmler entertained relives over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Wood were Eau Claire callers Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Aberle and family of Levis and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wood and son, Billy, called at the Frank Laken home Saturday evening. |
