Bamburak, Caroline (21 OCT 1939)

A beautiful wedding was solemnized at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church on Saturday morning, Oct. 21, 1929, at nine o’clock when Miss Caroline Bamburak, daughter of Mrs. Catherine Bamburak of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Edward Janetski of the town of Thorp. Rev. Father F.A. Kulig performed the nuptial mass. Wanda Okonski, sister of the groom, and Estelle Fijalkiewicz were the bridesmaids, while attendants to the groom were Joe Bamburak, brother of the bride, and Edward Novak.

The bride was attired in a wedding gown of lustrous velva-rae satin with fingertip veil and tiara of pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses and chrysanthemums. She wore a string of pearls, a gift from the groom.

The bridesmaids wore floor length peacock blue satin dresses with peach colored veils and carried bouquets of fall flowers. The groom and attendants all wore dark blue suits.

Following the wedding a reception was held at the home of the groom’s mother. In the evening a wedding dance was given at the Legion Hall in Thorp.

Out of town guests at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Ole Klak, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Janetski, Mrs. Bill Czug, Mrs. Carl Goedel, Miss Julia Bamburak and Mr. and Mrs. John Waninski, all of Chicago.

The many friends of Thorp and vicinity join in heartiest congratulations of the newly wedded couple and wish them much success and happiness throughout their life together.
