LeConte, Mildred (Marriage – 8 July 1940)

Miss Mildred LeConte, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William LeConte of Roanoke, Ill., and Mr. Gorman Sterzinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sterzinger of Colby, were united in marriage at Davenport, Iowa, on Monday, July 8th, Rev. John Burns reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Don Sutton.

The bride was attired in a white street length dress and her bouquet consisted of red roses. Mrs. Sutton wore a dress of navy blue silk crepe and her bouquet consisted of sweet peas.

A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sterzinger. Out of town relatives present were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kroehm and children of Milwaukee and Mrs. Henry Radeztsky of Abbotsford.

The newlyweds will make their home in ?, Ill., where the groom is employed by Libby, McNeil & Libby.
