Wednesday evening, June 12, at 8 o’clock during a candlelight service performed in Trinity Lutheran Church amid a setting of garden flowers, Miss Martha Noeldner was married to Ervin H. Dux. The double ring ceremony was read by the Rev. J. C. Langholz, pastor.

“The Bridal Chorus” from Lohengrin was played by Mrs. George Jensen. Mrs. Wm. Rottjer, sister of the bride, and Miss Mavis Berg sang, ”Always” and “Because.”

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Noeldner, town of Loyal, wore a floor length gown of white silk net fashioned with a train, a shirred bodice and short puffed sleeves. A cap effect headdress with a pearl coronet held her finger tip veil. She carried a bouquet of roses and swansonia. In compliance with the old wedding tradition the bride carried a handkerchief trimmed with blue, and wore the pearl necklace her sister, Mrs. Floyd McCann had worn at her wedding.

The maid of honor, Miss Laura Noeldner, sister of the bride, wore a floor length dress of yellow silk, and the bride’s maid, Mrs. Erwin Noeldner, sister-in-law of the bride wore a floor length dress of peach silk. Both wore wrist corsages.

The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dux, town of York, was attended by his brother, Verland Dux, as best man and the bride’s, Erwin Noeldner, as groomsman.

Supper was served to 50 guests at the home of the bride’s parents. Decorations were bridal wreath and white, blue, and yellow streamers. Frances Ann Langholz, Mildred Jensen, Altha Morse, and Gladys Morse were the table waitresses.

A dance and shower were given Thursday at the Silver Dome.

Mrs. Dux attended high school in Loyal and Greenwood completing her course in Greenwood in 1936. She is a graduate of the Teacher’s Training School of Neillsville. Following her graduation she taught school for three years.

Mr. Dux is a graduate of the Loyal High School, class of 1934. At present he is employed by Stanley Stevens.

Mr. and Mrs. Dux will soon be at home to their many friends. They have secured an apartment at the Francis Clark residence.
