(27 JUN 1939) Pink, blue and white was the color scheme chosen by Miss Olive Lorraine Jacobi of the town of Holton (Marathon Co., Wis.) for her marriage to Matt A. Lampi of Atwood (Clark Co.), son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Lampi Sr. The ceremony took place a week ago Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church at Abbotsford, the Rev. J. Brandt officiating. A floor length satin gown with a Venetian lace bodice and a long veil was worn by the bride, who carried roses and sweet peas tied with satin streamers of pink and blue. The maid of honor, Miss Esther Kvint, appeared in a pink satin formal gown and the bridesmaid, Miss Gertrude Lampi of Chicago, a sister of the groom, wore blue net over taffeta. Both wore matching accessories and their shoulder veils were held in place with crowns of flowers. Their corsage bouquets were of sweet peas. The groom’s attendants were Earl Krucker and Harvey Jacobi, the bride’s brother. After the wedding a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Jacobi of the town of Holton, which was attractively decorated with pink, blue and white streamers and cut flowers. The table was decorated with tall lighted tapers and a wedding cake in the form of a bell. Later the bride, a graduate of Abbotsford High School, and the bridegroom left on a wedding trip to Minneapolis. They will be at home to their friends after July 5 at Atwood, where the groom is engaged in the trucking business. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Wirth, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jacobi, Mr. and Mrs. Herb Jacobi, all of Edgar; Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Laack and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lenhardt of Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Matt Lampi Sr., and son, Joe and Michael of Atwood; Mr. and Mrs. William Plure of DeKalb, Ill.; Mrs. S.
