Miss Marion Lupient spent the 4th and week-end with friends at St. Paul.

Bill Klessig attended a meeting of state conservationists at Madison on Monday and Tuesday.

John Erickson of Chicago is spending his vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Erickson. Other guests over the Fourth at their home were Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Vegehlem of LaCrosse and Ethel Erickson of Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Moecker and son, Donald, of Pardeville spent the Fourth and the week-end with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lupient.

Miss Minnie Thompson of Milwaukee, who is attending summer school at Northwestern U. of Chicago, spent the 4th with her sisters, Clara and Alma Thompson. Another sister, Esther, who spent the past winter in Milwaukee, came home with her to spend the summer.

The Will Hall family of Medford spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. Smiley.

Lyle Tullis of Madison and Helen Lorentzen of Woodville, were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Laabs.

Miss Annie B. Hanson left on Wednesday night for New York where she will attend summer school at Columbia University.

Wm. Zuelke returned to Madison where he is attending summer school at the U. of Wis. after having spent the 4th and week-end with his family.

Mrs. Christ Klessig entertained the Ladies’ Aid of the Ev. and Reformed church on Wed., July 2nd.

Mrs. Frank Matthias, Mrs. Fred Machlett and Miss Anna B. Hanson were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Plecity, Stanley, on Wednesday.

Herbert Fahrenbach and sisters, the Misses Margaret, Bernice and Evelyn Fahrenbach of Chicago, spent the 4th and week-end with their parents.

The members of the F. W. Laabs family and their guests, Mr. and Mrs. George Pease and son of Menomonie, Mrs. Herman Laabs and son and Mary Lau Meier of Springfield, Mo., spent the 4th at the Laabs cottage at Lake Esadore.
