Obit: Quist, Christiane (1848 – 1940)
Surnames: Quist ---Source: OWEN ENTERPRISE (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) 02/08/1940 Quist, Christiane (4 SEP 1848 – 5 FEB 1940) Funeral services were conducted at two o’clock this afternoon from the Danish Lutheran Church at Withee for Mrs. Christiane Quist, 91, with the Rev. Holst officiating. Mrs. Quist was one of the oldest pioneer settlers of this community, having lived near Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) for years. Death came to her at her home shortly after midnight last Sunday. She had been ill and confined to her bed for the past four months. A complete obituary will be published next week.
